Wren Calloway

Wren runs the features desk: the design beat and the viral one. They came to the paper after a decade writing about architecture and interiors, and they cover short-term rentals the way a design editor covers anything, by asking what actually makes a place worth photographing and what makes a listing spread. The A-frame that books two years out, the Icon that is really an advertisement, the one material that lifts a whole room, the small touch a guest screenshots on the way out the door. Loud on the outside, right on the inside holds here too: Wren names what is genuinely beautiful, says plainly when a stay is only pretending to be, and never lets a trend piece run without the number that decides whether it pays.
